What got you interested in pit bulls?

An acquaintance of mine left his dog in my permanent care due to his busy work schedule, so we adopted one another. When Harley passed I set out and was adopted by 3 more along the way!!

What are some of your favorite things people have said about your pit bull?

Naturally, they are beautiful, extremely lovable and the consumate clowns, traits they did not expect to see due to all the negative press.

What do you think is the best way to fight Breed Specific Legislation?

By setting a higher standard for your dog and present them as ambassadors for the breed to help dispell the myths that surround them.

The dalmation look is because we put spots all over him for Halloween. He won first prize at he "Doggie Camp." He was just perfect.
I hope you never have to make that decision either. Both Doreen and I had to - we will never be the same.

He was rescued from a bad breeder in NC. He was perfect at first, but then he started guarding me. He became human aggressive and was attacking my family. But it was almost as though he didn't know he had done it. On the advice of my trainer (who I could not do without) and my vet, we made the horrible choice to put him down. They said he was suffering internally. I will never get over it. Thanks for asking.
Kahlua is my girl you see in the background. She is 8 and I couldn't love her more. She is everything to me.

It took me 30 min just to get my profile pic uploaded, so I'm not gonna bother with the rest tonight. I'm 8 1/2 mos pregnant and I no longer have ankles, lol!
