I have a little grey cat (well, I have three cats, but one of them has never been seen by a stranger, and Oscar's kitten is a love muffin and flirts with everyone)
When strangers come to the door, they always ask anxiously about the dog. As I'm pulling him off his attempts to lick them to death, I always say "the dog is friendly, do NOT touch the grey cat." and they always laugh. I then go to put Oscar away, and almost without fail will hear the yell of someone who thought I must have been kidding, and has just been bitten by my cat. Those who know my family know the pit bull is just a distraction, the real danger is that Trevor.
